About me sections are windows into someone’s life… into their interests…their likes and dislikes. I definitely love to open the window into my world starting with a little background.

I was born and raised in a very metropolitan area in the rural state of Gujarat, India. I made the move to Chicago in 1998 with aspirations of being a shooting star in the very near future. Through the years in high school and college I very quickly learned my biggest challengers and biggest inspirations in life were my friends.

While attending high school, I played varsity basketball- an escape to gain utmost control. Playing basketball taught me teamwork and collaboration, taught me how to maneuver myself out of situations, taught me how though winning is not important it is a drive to better yourself at something you love. I graduated from DePaul University with a degree in marketing situated in the heart of Chicago. From the faculty at the well established institution to the hustle and bustle of the city I learnt the realities of the work life and will forever carry my teachings with me.

I have a very firm grasp on social media marketing and Internet marketing mainly because I love doing it. I am by no means a guru but I strive to be one and like all shooting stars I hope to reach the top one-day. I am incredibly passionate and always evolving my strategies and approach to businesses, business ideas and marketing.

Early 2009, I began working as a consultant to small business owners and non-profit organizations in my community as a stepping stool for myself. Having achieved a lot of satisfaction from my clients and for myself, I only further believe that I have it in me to achieve my goals.

Today, I strive to learn the in’s and out’s of the marketing world and to eventually become the guru of social media marketing. I hope to inspire many and to teach many young candidates who share the same goals as I do in the future.

On a less serious note, I spend a lot of my time with my adorable four year old niece, who at a very young age in one of the busiest bodies and has such a personality. Attempting to lock down on a favorite song is near to impossible as my love to music runs deep from various artists to genres to communities- music heals the heart, soul and body! I am attempting to make life significant through my work and dreams and I only hope for the best.
